BOARD WAX
Sandboard Wax is that all important ingredient that makes a sandboard slide. Without it, you won't get very far!
In simple terms - wax breaks friction and reduces drag between the laminated base of the board and the sand, enabling the board to travel a lot further (and faster) down the dune.
We specialize in developing custom blended sandboard waxes for use in varying sand and weather conditions, which means you are able to ride all year round.
- '60/40' Regular Blend - All purpose wax for dry, cool to warm sand
- 'GLIDE' Summer Blend - High temperature wax for warm to hot sand
- 'WICKED' Winter Blend - Soft compound wax for cold, wet/dry patchy sand
- 'Buzz' 100% Pure Beeswax - It's super quick!!
Ocean Culture sandboards come with a free block of Regular Blend Sandboard Wax to get you started, but if you run out or need more this is the place to find it!
